Twin assist hooks are specialized dual-hook rigs used in vertical jigging and shore jigging to maximize hook-up rates and prevent fish from throwing the lure. Unlike single hooks or treble hooks, they feature two hooks tied to a flexible cord (usually Kevlar or PE) that attaches to the top split ring of a jig.
