FRY SCOOP NET

A fry scoop net is a small, handheld tool with a very fine mesh, used to safely catch delicate baby (fry) and shrimp. The mesh is small enough to hold tiny fish but lets water pass through easily. This prevents injury to the fragile creatures.
How It Works
  • Frame: A round or flat hoop holds the net open.
  • Mesh: A soft, tiny net bag. Water passes through, trapping the baby fish.
  • The Goal: Catch baby fish quickly without harming them or getting them tangled in rough fibers. 
Common Uses
  • Aquariums: Moving baby fish from a shared tank to a safe breeding tank.
  • Ponds: Scooping out floating dirt, bugs, or leaves without draining the water.
  • Aquaculture: Carefully sorting young fish for food farming
